The Dewey Decimal Classification System is the basic standard used to organize information resources collected in libraries. This classification method organizes universal knowledge using Hindu-Arabic numerals from 000 999. In this regard, there are some problems organizing Geography textbooks.Especially today; curriculum found University has expanded and developed into anInterdisciplinary Science filed that incorporates various other disciplines. However, textbooks cannot be organized a single volume within given numerical codes 910 913-919, which was refered by System. Modern not number construction like Philosophy, Religion Art. For example, branches of Human include Political Geography; Cultural Economic Geography, have under main category Social (300). Similarly, Physical Topography, Geomorphology Meteorology, Climate Atmosphere Rocks, Oceanography (500). primary purpose study identify Geographical scattered different places propose strategies will make it easier for reader meet their needs. research, descriptive methods were used. recommends library shall develeop maintain an ‘Athority File Subject Headings’to Textbooks.
